Like much of America, we gathered to watch Super Bowl LIX on Sunday evening! While the Chiefs-Eagles matchup was the draw for many folks, the potluck meal was just as enticing. Approximately 30 residents attended, and many of them brought a variety of delicious dishes to share, including shrimp, sliders, pizza, mini-hot dogs, and chips and dip. It was the perfect assortment for nibbling and watching all the action. In addition, our own resident 'Taylor Swift' made an appearance to cheer on Travis Kelce! #lakeprincewoods #seniorliving #retirementcommunity #SuperBowl2025 #potluckparty ... See MoreSee Less

Look who we ran into earlier this week! Alice Beaton is the Alzheimer's Association volunteer facilitator for our Alzheimer's support group. The prevalence of dementia increases with age, and many folks look for guidance on how to care for loved ones and seek out conversation with other folks dealing with similar challenges. Alice leads our group with the assistance of resident Jim Jones and Amy Henry, director of resident services. The group is active and growing and welcomes other people who can benefit from good information and a listening ear. The group meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 1pm. #lakeprincewoods #retirementcommunity #seniorliving #alzheimerssupport #dementiasupport #suffolkva ... See MoreSee Less
